Huntington Village PLACEMENT LIST AGREEMENT

It is hereby noted that the person named above has placed a Placement List Deposit on a townhome at Huntington Village AND has submitted a Rental Application along with a $20 Application Fee/On Site Transfer Fee. Your deposit is based on the unit you choose. We ask that you make your payment in two checks, one for the security deposit and the other check for the application fee. We will not place you in a unit (or hold one for you) until we receive your $20 application fee and security deposit. If Huntington Village is able to meet your request and you accept the offered accommodations, a lease will be emailed to you. At that time, you should print, sign and mail the lease to Huntington Village . If your signed lease is not received within ten (10) days from the date it is sent to you, your unit will be leased to the next qualified applicant. There is a back-out fee of $500 assessed if the unit is accepted and later denied by the applicant before the lease is signed. This applies to both new and current residents as well as individual roommates sharing a unit. Finally, we cannot accept cash, checks drawn on foreign banks or checks denominated in anything but US dollars. There will be a fee assessed for not having funds drawn off U.S. currency. We also have a mechanism in place for making electronic payments, but you must first apply so that we may create an account for you. If you would like to take advantage of this capability, please let us know in the “special requests or considerations” field above.

You will be notified when Huntington Village is able to meet your request, and you agree to let us know immediately if you are taking the apartment. The Placement List Deposit will be refunded by mail -- the $20 Application Fee/On Site Transfer fee will not. Failure to notify Huntington Village within this time frame will result in forfeiture of your Placement List Deposit.

If Huntington Village is NOT able to fulfill your request(s), PRIOR to the date needed the full amount of the Placement List Deposit will be refunded by mail.

Please note that Huntington Village Management will do their utmost in fulfilling your request(s)! If you request an apartment for July or August, you will receive notification no later than June 15th.
