Huntington Village Security Deposit Agreement
It is hereby noted that the person named above has placed a deposit on a townhome at Huntington Village AND has submitted a Rental Application along with a $20 Application Fee/On Site Transfer Fee. Your security deposit is equal to one month’s rent on the unit you choose. If you end up in a unit different from your original choice, the required amount will be adjusted as necessary. We will not place you in a townhome until we receive your $20 application fee and security deposit. Your deposit becomes effective on the first day of your lease. When a unit is assigned, we will email your lease to you. At that time, you should print, sign and mail (or fax) the lease back to us. If your signed lease is not received within three (3) business days from the date it is sent to you, your unit will be leased to the next qualified applicant. If Huntington Village is NOT able to fulfill your request(s) PRIOR to the date needed, the full amount of the security deposit will be promptly refunded by mail.
Please note that we cannot accept cash, checks drawn on foreign banks or checks denominated in anything but US dollars. There will be a fee assessed for not having funds drawn off U.S. currency. You will be notified when Huntington Village is able to meet your request, and you agree to let us know immediately if you are taking the apartment.
We will do our utmost to fulfill your specific request(s)! We strive to place you in a unit meeting your criteria within three business days of receipt of your application, application fee and security deposit. If we don't contact you within that time frame, feel free to call or email us for an update on your status.
